Thanks to the industrialization of the building process, from design to construction site, where all structural elements and envelope systems are made in the company, ready for installation, with extreme ease of assembly, construction times are reduced by 50 – 60%.<\/p>\n

Since it is a dry construction, daily problems and long drying and curing times for plasters and screeds typical of the traditional building site are no longer needed.<\/p>\n

The rapidity of construction together with the optimised design result in a reduction in financial costs, with a rapid return on investment and the time when the building starts to perform<\/p>\n

Moreover, thanks to the mechanical characteristics of steel profiles, much lighter structures are obtained. The lightness guarantees a reduction of costs concerning foundation works, excavation and casting volumes.<\/p>\n

We would also like to point out that the incidence of labour is lower: activities carried out on site cost twice as much as those carried out in the workshop.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the technical-constructive solutions applicable to dry steel construction and the materials used, it is possible to achieve very high energy performance for Class A buildings.<\/p>\n

The high thermal-acoustic insulation ensures the quality of the indoor environment. Systems, such as heating and\/or renewable energy systems, are also easily integrated into the structure.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, since steel is not a moisture conductor, it guarantees healthy environments without the so-called “sponge effect”.<\/p>\n

Dry steel solutions do not require maintenance and the treatments to which the profiles used are subjected guarantee their anti-corrosion properties with consequent durability of the building.<\/p>\n

Structural systems based on very ductile materials, an intrinsic characteristic of steel, are able to withstand earthquakes and are much more advantageous than those based on less ductile materials, such as reinforced concrete and brickwork.<\/p>\n

In very high seismic conditions, the lightness of the structure and its ductility guarantee high levels of strength and any restoration and maintenance work will be null or void, unlike more rigid structures, such as those using concrete, which are difficult to monitor after the earthquake.<\/p>\n

Dry-connected shell systems, with connections capable of supporting movement during an earthquake, offer considerable advantages that also limit possible damage to non-structural components<\/p>\n

Steel drywall buildings have a higher passive fire resistance than other industrialized building systems using other building materials.<\/p>\n

The steel structure is almost always placed inside cavities that already have insulation such as plasterboard slabs, which provide excellent fire protection. In case there are other needs, it is possible to use particular slabs that reach very high fire resistance parameters.<\/p>\n

The steel structure can be treated to have a correct fire resistance according to specific needs, in case it is left exposed, a protective treatment can be made<\/p>\n
